Order of 5

Order of 5 is part of the China Sports Lottery and is played every day, requiring ticket holders to match a five-digit code between 00000 and 99999 in the correct order to win RMB100,000.

How to Play Order of 5

Players can take part in Order of 5 at authorised China Sports Lottery retailers across the country. Tickets cost RMB2 each and players can either select their own combination of five numbers or have the lottery terminal make a random selection for them.

Order of 5 draws take place on TV and online every night at 8.30pm. The first three numbers generated are also used as the winning code for the Order of 3 game.

Order of 5 Prizes and Odds of Winning

There is only one prize on offer in Order of 5, with every player who matches the five-number code in the correct order receiving RMB100,000. There are 100,000 possible combinations, making your odds of winning the jackpot 1 in 100,000 for every Order of 5 ticket that you buy.

From the total sales for the game, 50 percent is used to fund the prizes, with 49 percent designated for that day’s draw and the remaining one percent paid out to the adjustment fund, which is used to fund draws where the amount won is greater than the entire prize pool. Any surplus in the prize fund is rolled to the next game to ensure everyone who wins will receive RMB100,000.

The Adjustment Fund can also be used to pay for special awards from time to time.

Winning Order of 5 tickets must be validated at your province’s dedicated lottery centre within 60 days of the draw taking place. Winners should note that they will be liable for taxation at a rate of 20 percent on all Chinese lottery winnings of more than RMB10,000.
